About me

Hello! My name is Maciej, I'm an 18 year old software developer passionate about creating beautiful and functional websites and applications. I also enjoy UI Design using Figma to design clean and user-friendly interfaces.

I'm always eager to explore new technologies and industry trends, and I strive to keep my skills up-to-date. I have a head full of ideas. In my free time I like to work on my own projects or take beautiful photos.

Currently I'm working on my mobile application project built with Flutter.

Wakely Mobile App

Introducing my secret project: a mobile app that I personally designed using Figma and brought to life using the incredible Flutter framework from Google. From the ground up, I poured my heart and soul into creating this sleek design, in both light and dark mode, and user-friendly experience. While it's still a work in progress, I'm excited to share the UI/UX design and perhaps even the code once it's ready.

This Portfolio

This portfolio showcases my first implementation of Next.js, TypeScript and Firebase. By using Next.js with TypeScript, I developed a great web experience, complemented by CSS for a sleek design. Leveraging Firebase for seamless automatic deployment, the website offers reliable performance and fast loading times. The website is fully responsive, so it looks great on any device.

LakeView Apartments

In my first freelance project, I designed and coded a responsive, single-page, static website. Using Figma, closely following my client's specifications, I created the design they desired. Then, with a Mobile First approach, I coded the website using semantic HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. Since its launch, the website has already attracted over two thousand users.

Sushi Project

While learning Vite, I built a sushi website that showcases responsiveness, fast loading times, animations, and an appealing design. Although it's important to be transparent - the design isn't mine, but by Pickolab studio. Nonetheless, I gained valuable knowledge, and I believe that the quality of the code is what truly matters. Therefore, I consider it a valuable addition to my portfolio until I have more of my own projects.

Work Experience

Junior IT Specialist

10/2022 - 11/2022

Welcome Airport Services

During this internship I gained hands-on experience in:

  • network monitoring
  • technical support across the company
  • software and hardware maintenance
  • local network design

I had the privilege of co-managing a project to establish a new working space for flight coordinators and supervisors at the airport, showcasing my project management skills.
This internship solidified my foundation in IT support and infrastructure management.

Computer Technician

11/2021 - 12/2021

During my internship as a Computer Technician, my tasks included:

  • Identifying and resolving issues with laptops and desktop computers
  • Installing and configuring software and operating systems
  • Troubleshooting and conducting performance tests
  • Installing or replacing computer components
  • Transferring data between devices

I also had the opportunity to work with WordPress and help create one website for a client. This internship provided me with valuable insights into computer maintenance and troubleshooting.

I attended one of Poland's top technical colleges, where I acquired a comprehensive education in computer science. This experience has greatly contributed to my development as a skilled and knowledgeable developer.
